Camp lounge at dusk

The house style

We plan the hours nobody puts on the poster.

A beautiful camp is wasted if the drive there is too long for the children, or the balloon is sold out, or the eTA is still “processing” when you reach JKIA. Topaz is a Nairobi desk. We know which conservancy still has space in August and which lodge photographs better than it sleeps.

Every route on this site can be taken as written or pulled apart. Tell us the dates, the people, and the thing you refuse to miss. We answer with camps by name.

Country

Six landscapes. None of them are a thumbnail.

How long the road takes, who the place suits, and which of our safaris actually go there.

Maasai Mara

The great migration

Maasai Mara

Kenya’s most iconic reserve. Endless gold plains, the Big Five, and the July–October wildebeest river crossings.

Enter Maasai Mara
Amboseli

Land of giants

Amboseli

Elephants under the snowed dome of Kilimanjaro, swamp-edge birdlife, and some of Africa’s most photographed dawns.

Enter Amboseli
Tsavo

Red earth wilderness

Tsavo

One of Kenya’s largest parks. Dusty red elephants, volcanic hills, Mzima Springs, and a sense of true scale.

Enter Tsavo
Samburu

The special five

Samburu

Arid beauty along the Ewaso Nyiro. Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, gerenuk and Beisa oryx.

Enter Samburu
Lake Nakuru

Rift Valley jewel

Lake Nakuru

A compact soda-lake park famous for flamingos, both species of rhino, and an easy pairing with the Mara or Naivasha.

How a trip is made

Four conversations, then you travel.

01

Dates and people

Who is coming, how you feel about small aircraft, and the one thing the trip must include.

02

A named plan

Camps, road versus air, and a price with park fees visible. You can pull it apart.

03

Hold and pay

A deposit by bank transfer, M-Pesa or PayPal. The balance before you travel. Receipts, not screenshots of hope.

04

The desk stays on

Vouchers, the driver’s number, and someone to call if a flight moves. WhatsApp +254 740 357 435.

From recent desks notes

The trips people actually finish.

“They shortened the afternoon drive without making us feel we had failed at safari. The children still talk about the rhino, not the vehicle.”

Family of five, Mara and Nakuru

“The flight was already in the quote. The villa faced the reef. Nobody tried to sell us a group excursion on the beach.”

Honeymoon, conservancy then Diani

“Three of us, beanbags, and a guide who would sit with a sleeping lion until the light changed. That is the whole review.”
